Raymond Aubrac (one of the leader of Liberation-Sud resistance group) was imprisoned in the Montluc prison in Lyon. He escaped on October 21, 1943 during his transfer from the Military Health School to the prison thanks to an operation set up by his wife Lucie Aubrac.
