It's a Dmax. Model Origin: Japan Made for: Chile |

Bearing in mind the subject of the film, this is not made for Chile. I think it's a Ford Ranger (designed by Mazda, made in Thailand) from the Afghan army or police. Come to think of it, "Model origin: JP — Built in: TH" at the top suggests that it was previously identified as such. -- Last edit: 2008-10-23 02:13:30 |

No it is definitely a Chevrolet D-Max (Isuzu in certain markets, but not in the Middle East); a large number of these were purchased for the Iraqi National Police, Iraqi Army and the Interior Ministry during 2005-2006. -- Last edit: 2008-10-23 03:17:26 |

Just D-Max, or LUV D-Max ? |

You can see the Chevrolet logo on the picture. This was also made in Chile, but the ones in Irak are likely made in Thailand? |

Anyone know what these were called in Iraq? Model name? |

According to one forum post, they were called/badged as LUV over there: Link to "www.coloradofans.com" However the full model name may be called LUV D-Max, as it appears there is a section for this model on an iraqi used car website (though, none for sale at the moment): the used car website -- Last edit: 2020-09-23 21:32:04 |
