From tiptopped turret, seems one of those Russian armoured cars,2nd WW's GAZ 63M-jeep based,(named as BA-64 and used into Korean war in '50s,nicknamed as "Bobby" by US Army)but could be even a "made for movie" one get by a masked Land Rover, maybe |

Scene shot on England. Nice try to make it "German", but the house is in English, not in German style - and the sign "Vorfahrt" (= priority road) is not on the left side - and not directly before a railroad-crossing. ![]() ![]() ![]() |

The body appears too tall for a real BA-64, and the bonnet shouldn't slope as much. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/BA-64 -- Last edit: 2008-10-10 21:52:51 |

Sure it's not real BA-64, but some ghastly monster made for movie ![]() |

Yeah, looking at the real thing, this thing's wheels are too small and the body is too long. I call made-for-movie. -- Last edit: 2009-07-12 22:58:51 |

..and it's too fat. BA-64 had nice proportions. |

I think they wanted to fake a Sonder-Kfz1 (http://de.wikipedia.org/wiki/Sonder_Kfz-1) and not a BA-64. |

Agree. Looked more like that Sonder-Kfz1. |
