Strange white colour, for this AZAM 1963 ..brand new! ... I didn't know this colour had been available so early in the 60's (I remember rather 2CV4 or 6 of the late 60's with white colour .... a sister of mine had one in the 70's) |

That is strange, indeed. No white 2CVs in France before September 1970. But in 1963 there were two shades of white available in Belgium (Blanc Paros and Blanc Lavande), but the Belgian equivalent of the AZAM was the AZM3, with three side windows. This car will be Belgian, though: small white license plate with two lights (until March 1964 the French versions had their license plate light in the middle), and amber indicator as part of the taillights. The tubes of the rear bumper look different from and higher than the AZAM bumpers, so I'd say this is a Belgian 1963 AZA with aftermarket bumpers and hubcaps. |
