you guys this is not an 85, from the very first amc eagle until 1984, the hood had this chrome strip down the middle. in 1985 the hood was switched to the "power bulge" style. my eagle was an 84 the last year of the flat hood. Link to "images.google.com" |

Yes, it is 1984. (Most) 1985 models have no hood ornament, but some very few early 85 cars did. 1984 was the last year for that style. |
