![]() ![]() Seems to be a Jordan, but which year and model? I'd place it around 1928. |

Well, yes - it's clearly a sedan, but that's the easy part. In 1927 there were three distinct series: J/J1-Series Line Eight, AA-Series Great Line Eight and R-Series Little Custom (which was an early 'compact' luxury car.) All were powered by 8-cylinder engines. In 1928 there were also 3 series, the JE-Series Air Line Eight and JJ-Series (sold under body style names, namely Custom Sedan, Custom Victoria, Playboy and Sport Coupe) and the Cross Country Six (which included the Blue Boy and Tomboy). On the other hand, the car might even be older, as cars titled 1926 have an identical appearance it seems. I'd title this 1926 Jordan Line Eight (as it doesn't appear to have longer hood of the Great Line Eight) for now, unless someone more knowledgeable has any input. |
