The engine reminds me of a Tatra 57, but the suspensions don't fit ![]() |

This is so called "Gipsymobille", car built out od Citroen 2CV, Dyane or Ami (but mostly Dyane, because they was most common Citroen A-series model on ex-YU roads). Here is a documentary from 2002. about phenomenon of converting Dyanas to old-paper collecting cars: http://www.documentary-film.net/search/watch-now.php?&ref=75 Nowdays it's imposibble to see these creations - Gipsies used it until 2006., when police finally started prizing these vehicles. Just watch the film (has english subtitles) and you'll understand what is this all about. ![]() Gipsies have strange habbit to mix their language ("gipsian" or however it's called in english) and serbian, so sometimes I also had to use subtitles to understand what they are talking! ![]() -- Last edit: 2010-03-29 00:04:45 |
