1965 for sure. Could this be a Galaxie 500 4 door hardtop ? or a LTD ? -- Last edit: 2023-07-20 09:42:29 |

I think it's an LTD with the round badge on the C-pillar |

It's a 1966 LTD. Galaxie 500 prefix was dropped starting that year. |

I have the impression this is a '65 judjing by the tail lights which are more vertical than in '66. Do you agree ? |

You can save yourself a lot of trouble by comparing the body panels. On the 1965, there's a recess in the middle that goes from the front to the rear. On the 1966, however, the recess stops at the rear door, and there's a lower recess on the rear fender, as seen on subject car. |

OK, I apreciate a lot your comment about something I never noticed, but... what about the tail lights ? Do you mean that it is just an impression ? -- Last edit: 2023-07-21 00:21:14 |

It is not a trouble for me. I don't understand this kind of expression by you. Thanks got I am just interested about cars and it is not a trouble for me to have a doubt about something. -- Last edit: 2023-07-21 00:24:44 |

I evaded your remark about the taillights deliberately as the body panels are (to me) a much easier way of identifying the year in general. That's what I mean by 'saving yourself the trouble'. Now, to talk about the taillights for a minute: no. I do not agree. The gap between the bumper and the taillight edge should be much narrower if it were a 1965. |

You are right because of the side shape. After all the tail lights are not enough identifiable by this photo. Thank you |
