Puzzling... ![]() Black doorhandles, but chrome grill, trim and trunk strip. I can't even tell if it's a P71 or not either, it could be a civilian model with those wheels and all the chrome trim... Ford guy, I hope you have some answers cause I sure don't ![]() -- Last edit: 2008-06-27 07:09:23 |

The shape of the headrests seem to indicate a 1998-2002 model, and the side door moulding would indicate some sort of fleet vehicle (either a taxi or a police-package model). Black door handles do indeed indicate a 1999+ model, but there is the issue of the chrome. What's even weirdest of all is that those are newer tires which shouldn't be able to fit the older models due to a change with the brakes and overall suspension/frame that came about with 2003 models. I am quite confused. Since I can't really see the headrests to completely verify my claim and the fact that the tires fit perfectly on this car, I will hesitantly say it's a 2003 model with certain replacement parts. |

Episode 1.16, the same one? (wheels seem similar)![]() |

Was there by any chance a front view? The car in the thumbnail is as equally confusing as the one in the main picture. Everything about it, except for the wheels, suggests that it is a 2000 model. I have a strong feeling that both of these vehicles have cheap plastic, aftermarket covers that resemble those found on newer models. This theory of mine is supported by the fact that the blue Ford oval is not on either of the wheel covers visible. |
