I wonder if they picked this type of car intentionally as they clip the front end of it at the end of the film. Usually you are not supposed to do that, as you want to ram the vehicle wherever the engine (heaviest part of the vehicle) isn't - this is even mentioned specifically earlier in the film. Of course, this is a Corvair, so you are supposed to clip the front end and not the back. Probably done for dramatic effect. Pretty stupid to block the road at a 45 degree angle also... |
