Is there any chance that London's bus routes, makes and models are on Wikipedia, like New York's are? -- Last edit: 2008-06-28 21:30:36 |

The Alexander ALX400 body has appeared on Dennis, Volvo and DAF chassis, and it can be difficult to tell them apart, so in London you go by registration plate or fleet number if you can get it, otherwise operator and route number. The real London Transport buffs (I'm not!) would be able to tell you if it's on the right street, heading in the right direction A couple of links for you: http://www.londonbusroutes.net/ by Robert Munster looks at current bus routes in London, their operators, the type of bus, etc http://www.busesatwork.co.uk/ by Ian Armstrong has histories of London's bus routes from 1950 onwards So if you can identify the date the scene was filmed, you can then decide whether the bus is a genuine in-service bus or hired-in by the film company with an inappropriate destination blind. |
