Nice old belgian bus, if I remember well these colors were still in use in the 80s, where I was kid ![]() ![]() ![]() Seen in archive pictures, I do not know if it is the same bus (unlikely) or just the same model (or a similar one): ![]() ![]() Destroyed at the end, but fortunately it is clearly not the same bus, I guess they took one in bad state: ![]() ![]() ![]() -- Last edit: 2008-06-29 22:48:39 |

The nice body (main pic) is of the Van Hool. The archive pics shows another Van Hool, but it is older model. They destroyed another Belgian - the Jonckheere (well at least something with Jonckheere bodywork). -- Last edit: 2008-06-30 00:45:34 |

Il y a même déjà un Van Hool (marque) Volvo (modèle) : /vehicles.php?make=Van+Hool&model=Volvo+B10R&modelMatch=1&modelInclModel=on ![]() -- Last edit: 2008-07-11 21:57:22 |

Hello, I am a belgian bus & coach spotter. The destroyed bus is a Jonckheere body, type Trans-City, model widely spread among the sub-contractors of the SNCV-NMVB public transport company. As they were dozens and dozens of them, it is impossible to identify this one. For the other one used in the movie, as the movie is from 2004, I know this is a bus of the public transport museum located in Liège, Natalis. It is a Van Hool body on Volvo chassis, delivered new to operator "Garage du Perron", located at Petit-Rechain (Verviers). This bus did nothing but drive on line 38b Liège-Verviers, and after that was donated to the museum. Greetings, D |
