In North America, it would be a 1995-1998 Mazda Protegé [BH]. |

Don't know why I put 323, I know better. We had several of them. My mother hated that car. It has the 1997-1998 taillights -- Last edit: 2023-09-22 21:59:29 |

We both did, we both had the next generation [BJ], mine was a 2002 LX and I think he had a 2001. The [BH] version was a huge letdown after the [BG]. Mazda downgraded the engines to focus on fuel economy, so they were less peppy and noisier. And they had more space inside, but they used cheaper interior materials. My mom's assessment was that it 'drove like a truck". |

yep, a 2001 ES-GT . Here , there was two kinds of ES , a regular one and one with the GT option group ( in french only, sorry ) which included the 16 in. alloys, spoiler, sunroof, fogs , 4 discs brakes with ABS but there is no mention badge/decal to differenciate both . I think the only remaining option was a multi-disc CD player ( which sadly i did not had.. ) well, not sure for that gen but these days, your mom would be right.. almost everything drives like a truck.. -- Last edit: 2023-09-23 21:28:52 |
