I'm thinking it's a Hooper bodied Bentley ..similar to this Rolls-Royce - /vehicle_15721-Rolls-Royce-Silver-Cloud-1956.html

You are right, it is a 1954-56 Hooper bodied Bentley S1 Empress Saloon, one of 42 ever built. See:

A bit late I know but I'm sure it isn't a Bentley S1 Hooper as it looks too
broad around the rear passenger seat. Hoopers are definately narrower:

The alternative is for an Bentley S1 by Freestone and Webb. It is a heaver,
more bulky looking body especially at the rear of the cockpit. It also has
the hooded headlights as does the Hooper.

Nope, I see what you mean, but it is a Hooper. Freestone would also have chrome windscreen surroundings
