Leganza ◊ 2008-07-16 20:56	Some Lada's models, among them Niva, marked the history as one of the first imported vehicles sold in Brazil starting from 1990, year in that the vehicles imports were opened for the president Fernando Collor de Mello. Niva was the foreign vehicle more sold in the segment of SUV's. But Lada faced some problems. Besides the precarious trim and of the vast Brazilian territory, that disturbed the subject of the technical attendance, the company brought cars without adapting them to the Brazilian gasoline that uses about 20% of alcohol. Therefore the problems appeared in hoses, fuel bomb and carburetors. The niva was sold up to 1999 and it is very still appreciated today by the adventurers.
