I did some searching, and I think this is a Samco Warrior ("Samco" stands for Sports Automobile Manufacturing Company), a replica of the 1937 Cord Sportsman built in Oklahoma in the late 1960's. Acccording to the source linked below, the Samco (or SAMCO) replica Cord was produced from 1968-1970 and production for those three years totaled 430 cars with Ford or Chrysler engines. http://www.stutzbearcat.com/cordhistory.htm |
