White-Freightliner WFT model obviously, but we might be able to narrow down the year on this thing. So on the rear-right corner of the cab we can see that the air-intake/exhaust stack is not embedded into the cab itself. Prior to 1967, all WFT-models had the stack or air intake built into a small slot on the sleeper's back. In 1967, it became optional to have the slot not be present. (Not sure if it was still used on day cab models, I couldn't find enough evidence) --- Pre-1967 WFT ------------------- 1967+ WFT --- Sadly, there is very little info available on these kinds of trucks. So there's not really any exact dates, I just go off of comparing photos of surviving trucks to one another. This truck appears to have the largest BBC-length available on WFT models at the time. 81-inches. -> 1967+ White-Freightliner WFT-8164T -- Last edit: 2024-08-02 07:42:41 |
