Ford Taunus P7 |

Yes [P7b]. By the silver raer facia I'd say it's a 20M. Taunus name wasn't used for this model, and it appears to be a coupé. |

Where was this filmed? Any local assembly? |

This should be Turkey. |

As kegare says, in Turkey. No, it was only built in Köln/D and Genk/B: http://de.wikipedia.org/wiki/Ford_P7 But it was an extreme popular car by the Turkish immigrant workers in Germany back in the 70ies. Before both Granadas, I and II got the nicknames "Ford Ankara", or "Orient Express", the P7, especially the 20M [P7b] already had it. |

Agree this is unlikely to be local assembly from what I can find by googling. http://de.wikipedia.org/wiki/Otosan#Otosan_Ford has a list of Otosan Fords - includes some 60s Taunus, but no P7a or b. |

For the record, World Car Catalogue 69 and 71 have 17M/20M assembly in Belgium, Costa Rica, Peru, Philippines, Portugal & South Africa. But not Turkey. And Hyundai did some a bit later, but there's a gap in my WCC set. |
