I think it's a resto'd split-screen, with a hood which doesn't look quite right. May be a 1951 Minor Tourer [MM] - has raised headlights, but before Convertible fixed side screens. Strange modern wheels (smaller diameter than original) and perhaps newer replacement rear wings?? Strongly smells mongrel, but not totally obvious what it mixes. |

Either an MM, or an early Series 2. The dashboard does not have a large clock in the centre, which came when the grille changed from cheese grater to horizontal bars. |

Could this be an early model with roof chopped off? |

^ Maybe - the clues are all jumbled up. Entering as 51 [MM] Tourer as best fit for what I think I can see. |

dsl: what years would you expect to see trafficators in the rear wings? |

^ Basically 1961 when the semaphores were abandoned. But I think this one has newer rear wings than early 50s - the wheel opening was reduced in 57 for the Minor 1000. Which is inconvenient for this one, as I think they're 57+ replacement wings with modern smaller wheels which camouflage things. |
