I think both of these are Daimler CVG5s, and probably the other buses are too. |

Looks like a Daimler, AEC has a central vertical bar on the radiator, and the triangular badge at the top. I'll do some digging on the Edinburgh bus fleet. |

In 1952, according to my source, the ECT single decker fleet contained 6 Daimler CH6 of 1932, that had been modified to be COG5 and rebuilt by Alexander, 39 genuine COG5 built from 1936 to 1938 which were rebuilt by ECT after WWII, and 10 1949 CVG5 with Metro Cammell Carriage and Wagon bodies. There were 17 CVD6, all double deckers, 7 with Northern Counties relaxed utility bodies, and 10 with Birmingham style MCCW bodies. The above picture looks like one of the postwar CVG5 buses. |
