@rjluna2: you've probably been asked this before, but don't you ever crop black borders? It's super easy to do with XnView and your images would look so much better. |

It was a film to video transfer at the DVD media that I was able to grab. I'll look into XnView to determine if this is feasible for me. |

If you do, here's a tutorial: put all the images in a folder. Click on an image, lasso the image within the black frame, look at the coordinates in the bottom bar, and write them down. In this case it's 645x498 (7 0). Exit, mark all images and click on batch processing (ctrl + u). Select transformations and then crop + add, type in 7 in the x field (leave the y field 0 in this case), 645 in the width field, and 498 in the height field, et voilà. Make sure you also select general -> overwrite -> replace and check delete original. If you're unsure if you're doing it correctly, uncheck this box. Good luck. |
