S70 does not exist, it is S60 the sedan of the V70. But I do not see what allows to say that it is a V70 rather than a S60 ![]() When I completed this movie I did not include it because if I remember well few S60 where visible in the car park, like the one already listed: /vehicle_148-Volvo-S60.html (since the scene is at the same place). So I would rather include this pic as extra picture of the existing S60 ![]() -- Last edit: 2006-01-17 18:09:38 |

The other one is, for me, a S60: the white part on rear lights of the S80 are different S60 rear view S80 rear view -- Last edit: 2006-01-17 18:18:40 |

Yes, you are right it is an S60. But I don't think they are the same car... The location where it is parked is different. And so is the license plate!! It is indeed hard to tell wheather this is an S60 or V70, but V70 was the first thing that came to mind... -- Last edit: 2006-01-17 18:25:46 |

This is the older body of V70 or S70, there was one up til then, it derives from the 850. V70 is now a wagon based on S80, the S60 is a smaller car and does not come as a wagon. |

4 antp : let me explain it to you: since 1991 - there was 850 as sedan and wagon. In 1997 it was renamed and little bit different shaped on S70 (sedan) and V70 (wagon). In 2000 S60 was introduced and V70 differently shaped as wagon from S60 ![]() |

Actually (just to confuse things a little more), I'd guess a Volvo C70 convertible. I don't think it's a coincidence that every car in the ice palace scene was a Ford product. However, at the same time, both the S70 and V70 which used that front end had gone out of production in 2000, while the C70 lasted a few years longer (after all, in such blatant product placement, why would they show a car that's not sold anymore?). Plus, if you look at the area above the windshield, it does look like the edge of a convertible roof. I think there was an XC70 somewhere in the scene though (I'd have to watch the movie again). |

I think, that it is not C70, they have different bumpers.. But from this angle.. How do we know, that it is a wagon? |

i think this is c70![]() |

Yes, that is a C70. That is a C70 bumper and slope of the windshield is the same. Judging by the grille, it is a 99-01 model. I own a 1998 C70 coupe. Stunningly beautiful car. -- Last edit: 2006-01-20 15:06:42 |

From the cowl forward, the C70 (coupe), S70 (sedan), and V70 (wagon) are identical. You cannot tell what it is from this angle. |

You can see that this is a C70 and not an V70 or S70 because the V70/S70 have square foglights in the front bumper. The C70 has round foglight which you can see is this scene. I own a 1998 C70 T5 and by looking at the grille this must be a 1999-2001 model like Spix said. |
