I believe it's a 1981+ Hymer S 550 http://www.fh1402.de/Chronik%20der%20Hymer%20S%20Klasse%2079-95.pdf . https://www.beremooiehymers.nl/?Hymer-S/S-serie-1985 Because of the wheels it might be based on a Ford Transit Link to "www.hagerty.co.uk" . -- Last edit: 2024-03-10 09:50:46 |

Rather a UK built Transit than a German one? Not common to see these Hymermobiles in the UK either. (Pronunciation tip: I also thought it was an English company as a kid, but it's actually 'Hoo-mer'. Americans and Brits may go separate ways in pronouncing Lidl - America pronounces it the right way - but they are unified in their mispronunciation of Hymer) |

I thought it was pronounced "Hümer". |

It is yes, but I can't approximate it that close in English. |

I thought I was going crazy. When I validated this last night, I knew it was listed wrong, but didn't know what it was. So when I went to look for it today to see what it was, it was gone. Now I see you just merged it. |
