Agreed, @Bux_48, I also thought of Bergadana at first sight, but this Fúnebre appears to be bodied by one coachbuilder from the Xàtiva trilogy (originally Carrocerias Mirsan - later Cotex - nowadays Planxisteria Xàtiva) and in that case it would most likely be Cotex - I'm not sure when exactly they changed the name. They, just like Bergadana, also made similar things on Seat Málaga chassis. |

You're welcome! ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() I'm almost sure Bergadana may have built a few Regata hearses as well, but apparently I have no pictures to prove that. |

@AnimatronixX ![]() On the actual Techno Classica there is a 32B-Passat Funébre by Bergadana, on the stand of the Passat-Kartei. Do you know that car? On the display they wrote, that Bergadana also made an ambulance on 32B-basis -- Last edit: 2024-04-06 20:04:26 |

I know it's in Germany for a few years and apparently it isn't even that far away from where I live, but we haven't met yet. There was a multi-page feature about this car in one German classic car magazine a while back. It's not known how many hearses and ambulances Bergadana built on the 32B chassis, but I don't think there were more than a handful combined. What they possibly don't know: Cotex also bodied at least one Passat 32B Fúnebre ![]() ![]() |
