Wrong country, mate. ![]() You mean Slovakia, which was formerly part of Czechoslovakia, not Slovenia, which was formerly part of Yugoslavia. |

oops. mis-read the IMDB entry, my apologies to Slovenian people. Daft mis-type, I ought to know better. Still, you get my point right? ![]() |

by the way, if you like them so much, they are quite affordable in here and in Czech Republic ![]() ![]() few examples: http://www.autobazar.eu/sk/card.php?id=55086 http://www.autobazar.eu/sk/card.php?id=56776 -- Last edit: 2007-02-09 00:08:55 |

If I had somewhere to put it, I should, yes. But in addition of not having any place to put it, I do not know anything to mechanics to be able to repair/maintain such car ![]() |

there is a great club over here in uk, a few have been imported with (they say) good spares channels. That 555GBP one looks great, no wear on seats! cheap car. I have small space to put the cars I have, but... if I buy that plane ticket.. and tell the missus it is 'a holiday'.... who knows ![]() |

T 613-3 was one of the latest interpretations of pristine 1969 Tatra T 613 series born by the pencil of Vignale |

I do like very much this Tatra. It was a very nice design. I don't know if some had been imported in France, though I've never seen any... the fact is that whatever the present price in Czech republic or East countries (840euro for ex is very cheap), a french purchaser should add a big amount for homologation by DRIRE ( Service des Mines)to allow driving it on french roads. Then spare parts is another problem... But if I had place, ... ![]() |

Do you have to do this for a used car? In the UK, this is only needed if you import as a new car. The only things to change (if needed) are tyres (if they are not to the standard) and correct the light units for RHD roads. I was going to take my Lancia to France and leave it there as a holiday car, of course getting a CT for it, it is LHD. |

In France it is very difficult to register a car that was not originally sold there. Except if the car can be registered as "oldtimer" I think, but for that it has to be 20 or 25 years old (changed recently / will change soon) In Belgium I do not know how it works, but I think that it is easier. The easiest being UK: you can register anything ![]() |

It think it has become less difficult. All you need is a type approval from some EU country where it has been approved nowadays.... |
