GMC, probably a TDH. |

A classic Metrobus, the main public transportation service in Washington, DC, and the surrounding area. |

I kinda miss those old rattletraps but it's nice to face forward and have room for my knees. Have you seen any new articulated buses yet? dcist.com/2008/07/21/metro_unveils_new_metrobuses.php |

Not yet in person. I'm not sure I like the new paint scheme. There's a really nice Yellow Cab (the orange and black one, but it's Yellow Cab Company) in the thumbnail in stronghold's second post. It's a General Motors full-size 4-door hardtop (I imagine most taxis would be sedans instead of more expensive hardtops) from about 1975-1976, possibly a Buick LeSabre, a Chevrolet, or an Oldsmobile. |

I work a couple blocks north of their South Arlington facility and saw one headed that way the other day when I was at lunch. Took me awhile to realize what it was! -- Last edit: 2008-08-19 15:55:59 |

Should be GMC, not GM, to conform to the rest of the database |

Again removed year due to Snookie guessing. Updated to reflect GMC. |

Definitely not 1975 since WMATA didn't have any New looks newer than 1973. I can't tell the width from the photo, but if it's 96 inches it's either a 1971 T6H5306A or a 1973 T8H5308A, and if it's 102 inches it's a 1968 T6H5305A or a 1972 T8H5307A. |
