Could be a Hiace or even a BAW Haishi: /vehicles.php?make=&model=haishi |

It's a Hiace. Looks like a Super Wagon http://www.rakatook.com/Classifieds/item/B01018756.jpg |

Several Chinese companies make more or less exact clones of the Hiace. The Jinbei Qinwu looks exactly like the Hiace Super Wagon, as does the BAE Haishi (if the ones on the site are correctly identified). http://www.chinacarforums.com/forum/showthread.php?t=3328 Since this is in China, it's more likely to be a Jinbei, BAW or other Hiace clone than a genuine Toyota. -- Last edit: 2008-08-20 11:15:30 |

There are at least ten factories making Hiace clones in China. Here's what I've found so far: - BAW Jingshi BJ6490 - Bende QY6481 (production ceased in 2004) - Foton BJ6486 Sea Lion - Golden Dragon XML6480 - Guizhou Hangtian GHT6460 - Jiangnan/Mudan MD6480 - Jinbei SY6470/SY6520 - Tianma Haishi KZ6490 - Tianqi Meiya TM6490 - Xinkai HXK6490 As Gag said it is most probably a Jinbei (Brilliance), BAW or Foton. I believe Jinbei is the most popular one. -- Last edit: 2008-08-20 17:34:53 |
