It is a Mark VII M type saloon of 1955 or1956.The Mark VIII was introduced in 1957 and had a one piece windshield and new side trim that allowed for two-yone painting as most of these later cars were. |

The integrated fog lights below the headlights and the absence of separated indicators identify a 1951 model year Mk VII. The rear lights and the rear bumper seen on the thumbnail also confirm it. |

This car has the first bumper type (three curves), the integrated fog lights and smaller type rear lights. It is the first type Mk VII. The Mk VII M had a heavier looking bumper(two curves), separated foglights and two vents replacing the foglights. In the front wings there are a small blinker and at rear, a large tail light incorporated the rear blinker. |
