i have one question, what is difference between coupe and two door sedan? |

A Coupe, or rather Hardtop Coupe, has no b-pillars above the beltline, so when you lower the windows, there is a huge unobstructed opening, similar to a convertible with the top up. A 2-door sedan has a b-pillar and often an upper doorframe. When you lower the windows on these, the b-pillar remains in place, so you have two smaller openings. |

A coupé should not have a sedan-like trunk (fastback) and should not have an extra window after the door. But in lots of cases, they have at least one of each. Classification of 2-door cars is difficult, because each make may use the name "coupé" for different things. |

That's not an Impala, it's too basic. Probably a Biscayne. |

There is also a 61 Dodge behind it. And whooshing by is a 1964 or 65 Thunderbird. |

Also, there appears to be a 1958 Pontiac parked along the building on the image's right side. |

1961 Chevrolet Biscayne 2-door sedan This should be Class: Cars, Sedan, not Coupé, even if it has 2-doors. |

Other cars in the photo are a Beige 1961 Dodge Polara Hardtop Sedan, a White 1964 Ford Thunderbird Convertible (To be more appropriate with the film's release and production date), the main car (1961 Chevrolet Biscayne Two-Door Sedan), a Metallic Blue 1958 Ford Country Sedan Station Wagon, a Light Blue/Cyan 1958 Mercury Colony Park Station Wagon on the left side of the photo, a White 1961 Ford Econoline Van in front of the 1964 Ford Thunderbird Convertible, and a 1961 Plymouth Valiant next to the Ford Econoline Van. |

Yes, this comment is from 2006 which is 18 years ago (which means I am quote-on-quote "necroposting"), but that Pontiac you mentioned is actually a 1958 Ford Fairlane Country Sedan Station Wagon. |
