(below) they say they are 40km from the nearest town and have No telephone. They then walk back to the Villa after all four tyres (& the spare) are slashed.! But miraculously at the end sequence they are seen driving back to the city :)

 Looks more like a Jeep CJ than an old Willys, for me.

 On back it has inscription: Willys Industria Brasiliera. Then built in Brasil.
