Samurai in America, but I'm not sure about Europe. I looked on Wikipedia, and apparently this generation (SJ410) was introduced in 1982 and built in Spain by Santana Motors for the European market. |

In the German 'Autokatalog 1983' the Suzuki SJ 410 is listed as Suzuki SJ 410, not as Samurai. In the 1981 Autokatalog it's not mentioned yet, and I don't have the 1982 book. In my Dutch caltalogues this model was first mentioned in 1983, and changed its name to Samurai in 1989 (but the film dates from 1988). -- Last edit: 2008-09-01 23:05:01 |
