dsl ◊ 2024-05-28 23:34	Agree likely a Santana, but I'm going blind on this one as I'm 300 miles away from my Land Rover bible to try to match up the blend of features. Has 70s shallow split-screen but 87+ (UK date) door handles. Mirrors look late 80s or 90s and front similar period. Tropical roof not usefully diagnostic ... Can't find a match among our collection of UK or Santana versions and it'll be a week or 2 before I can look at The Book ....
dsl ◊ 2024-06-17 21:33	Now reunited with my L-R bible, but still befuddled by the mix of 70s and late-80s/early-90s elements as above. Can add it's got the Santana 6-cylinder grille (mid-70s+??), one-piece side windows (mid-80s??), but not the Santana GRP roof (1978+, but that was also date for one-piece windscreen). And I can't find a Santana ref or pic for the 90s door handles. It could be a mid-70s upgraded mongrel, or a permutation which has escaped my bible. S3a my best estimate, with no date assigned.
