Nothing found for early 70s RAC rally Minis with #4, but the car's real from this list for a minor 1973 Welsh club event - "SL Williams/T Lane BL Mini Cooper S 1000 JUY 773K", non-starter. Will Sparrow - a Warwickshire-based and very fast private Mini entrant - had various red Cooper S rally cars in early 70s and is listed as finishing 6th on 1972 Welsh in a "Mini Cooper" #4 with Nigel Raeburn. xUY was Warwickshire plate, so I think this is a Sparrow car; however he mixed and matched between normal and Clubman bonnets between events, so unclear if this is 72 Welsh or another event around 1972.
