As far as I understand (Björn-Erik Lindh, VOLVO Personvagnarna- från 20-tal till 80-tal, Förlagshuset Norden AB, 1984, ISBN 91-86442-06-6) this model was collectively called the 830-series. There were four different versions, the PV 831 (with dividing glass wall), the PV 832 (without dividing glass wall) (as tore-40 correctly pointed out) and the chassis PV 833 and PV 834 but I haven't found out the difference between those. There were also a Disponent based on the 831, called PV 831 Disponent. MY's 1951 and 1952 had five standing 'teeth' in the grille, but those disappeared from MY 1953. 4.000 made of the 831/832 models until 1957.
