 Possibly the same type of car without the skull painted on with what looks like bit of mercedes logo, but i know absolutely nothing about these.

 Problem is, we have the star emblem of Mercedes on the grille, while Benz had laurel wreath with lettering BENZ.

It is true Benz was first truck make in the world, but here we have a 4 cyl Daimler engine~ 1921
not yet a Diesel which came in 1923
Mercedes trucks were built in Sindelfingen while Benz were made in Mannheim and later in Gaggenau
Mannheim is still active building busses
1925 was the merging year of Mercedes-Benz

 Good Question, from 1916 onwards they seem to have had only a lettering BENZ on grille mash or an circular emblem of other style.

 1916 onwards there has been an excentric variation of the circular BENZ signet has to do with Gaggenau factory
