 I believe it might be a series I or II Wolseley 6/90 https://www.wolseleyregister.co.uk/wolseley-history/post-war/690-2/ .

 I think it's rather a 4/44 - notice the badge, small taillights and boot handle below the plate rather than surrounding it. OXP 429 was a 1954 plate.
