it`s the 1950 AFM-50-5 (Formula 2 with BMW 328 engine) from the Alexander von Falkenhausen Motorenbau (AFM) Racingteam AFM 50-5 [http://www.forix.com/8w/df2-afm.html] - ordered by Gommann, debut Eifelrennen 1950 - badly damaged Grenzlandring 1950 (Karl Gommann did) - sold to Bechem for 1951, rebuilt and converted into sports car - 1952 converted to 1.5l engine capacity - reconverted to 2-litre capacity in 1953 -- Last edit: 2009-10-27 20:14:20 |
