Would it be a too far fetched if I guessed that because it's having minilite wheels and the exhaust pipe mounted at the centre it would be a Cooper version. I'd say the badge on the boot lid says Morris Cooper Link to "am-s3-bucket-assets.s3.eu-west-2.amazonaws.com" (from https://www.iconicauctioneers.com/1968-morris-mini-cooper-rec12870-1-nec-1123 ) which would argue it was made before MY 1969 when the Austin and Morris brands disappeared and was replaced by 'Mini'. After some searching on the net, I'd say this badge only existed for MY 1968. 1968 Morris Cooper? |

LBL 6 D from rear https://www.flickr.com/photos/triggerscarstuff/4650478667 (with small rear lights, different badges and, strangely enough, with a LBL 6D number plate...) |

A real mongrel of elements. Agree badge is Mk2 format (Oct 67 to Oct 69) and probably Morris Cooper, but that's the only specific Mk2 element. Rear lights are Mk2/Mk3 without Mk4+ reversers. Boot lid is Mk3+ with shroud above plate, doors look Mk3+ (concealed hinges, wind-up windows), mirror looks mid-80s+, arches are non-standard profile, 10" wheels so before 85. Only one filler so Cooper S unlikely. Best fit is 1970+ Mini 1000 Mk3, which in most Europe markets was sold as Austin in early 70s, and for B was probably made at Seneffe. |
