Apparently, this generation was introduced there for the 2021 MY in July 2021, two years after the seventh-generation iteration was unveiled globally. At that time, Pakistan and India were the only countries to still offer the older sixth-generation, with the latter country ended the production and sales of that generation in 2023. Pakistani models were also locally assembled for their country.
