this doesn't make sense , info must be wrong !! since plate in 1965 dates before this models supposedly introduced Whitlock 405 1965-67 A 360 degree rotation excavator with dozerblade. Built on a Ford 5000 tractor. Whitlock 50R Circa 1971. A 360 degree Hydraulic Excavator Whitlock 505 1967-69 A 75 hp Ford 5000 engined Diggerloader with Ford 4x4 axles. They were good bits of kit and were second only to JCB in UK sales of backhoe loaders. Made in a small Essex village Great Yeldham. Hymac bought them out early 1970s Whitlock invented the backhoe loader. If I had a pound for every time I have read JCB invented them.
