Looks like it could be 1500 weight class with possibility of LT trim level |

Wasn't there a specific name for this conversion? I think Explorer was one of the designations used for this. Link to "www.google.com" Or, it might be just the 1500 as @rjluna2 put it. I found a nearly identical match in the official brochure. They also coined it as the Converter Package, 2003 didn't have an LT trim level per the official brochure. The max trim level was the LS. However, this one is not an LS because it has a grey grille or the Converter package . I believe this just may be a modified base model. The features in the brochure match up with that Link to "www.auto-brochures.com" -- Last edit: 2019-07-07 01:22:18 |

I agree, it appears to have the Converter Package, which GM appears to classify as a trim level. It also has an aftermarket conversion of some kind, as you can see the little decal below the 'CHEVROLET' badge on the right rear door. This Sherrod van also has the same decal, I have no idea what it says though. Link to "www.axelrodautooutlet.com" This Dodge Ram Van with a Sherrod conversion package also has the same decal on the rear door. Link to "www.davis4x4.com" This 2000 model Express with Regency conversion package also has the same, or a similarly shaped decal, in the same position. Link to "photos.motorcar.com" And here is a Sherrod Ford E-150 also sporting the same decal. http://www.2040-cars.com/_content/cars/images/52/334052/003.jpg I can't find any good zoomed in pictures of this decal to figure out what it says. |

Not sure if it is on this list: https://www.v8van.com/conversion.html |

It probably is but it will take a while to go through every one to find a match since the decal on this van is poorly visible even with all the additional captures. I’l take a stab at it though. |

@Truck_Guy Take a look at this video of a Regency Conversion, the decal from this van seems to be an exact match but in a different position. It's visible at the 0:30 second mark. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=4ybsLhPeWZY However I took at look at some Sherrod models and this 2003 has one as well as. https://www.admiralmotors.com/2003-chevrolet-express-conversion-van.html Them being on both the Regency and Sherrod packages though makes this harder to pinpoint what Conversion package this is actually using though. Starcraft is out since it lacks the decal. Link to "www.2040-cars.com" Here's another Regency in the same badge position as the one in the film http://gtcarlot.com/colors/car/47445849-5.html but one that's not. I think the Converter's honestly just placed the badge anywhere because I've seen one's also on the rear window. Here's some examples http://gtcarlot.com/colors/car/62840362-5.html - Regency http://gtcarlot.com/colors/car/48328265-3.html - Unknown http://gtcarlot.com/colors/car/35428082-4.html - Unknown -- Last edit: 2019-07-07 08:43:32 |
