Almost looks like Vanilla Sky ... The car and crash scene look identical, but the car lands differently : http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=GTw2Uy5TL3c |

Might be the same sequence but just from another take in where the car didnt land on its wheels. |

No, it's not. The other car was a Buick Skylark and this is an Olds Cutlass. |

Too similar to be just a coincidence, im sure it is just another take of the Vanilla Sky crash, they could have changed the car for the crash scene. |

Didn't they rather retake a scene at the same place (or similar) to make a reference to the movie? |

Ah that could be too indeed. |

In fact, this one is a Buick Skylark too! 1971 or 1972... |

i think in vanilla sky they used a buick until the crash scene, in which they used the olds. |

This scene is an exact copy of vanilla sky, because the producer of scrubs is a huge fan of the movie. |

This IS unused footage from Vanilla Sky. I remember seeing both versions of the crash, the failed one seen here and the one that made it in Vanilla Sky, as they were available as stock footage on the now-defunct BBC Motion Gallery. -- Last edit: 2016-01-31 17:19:36 |
