This is not a 1934 Chev, it is a 1933-34 Ford. Distinguishing features of a 1933-34 Ford in this photo are suicide front doors, forward opening cowl vent and opening windscreen. The shot across the engine also shows a 1934 Ford Grill and radiator supports. The 1934 Chev had a seperate grill insert in a larger grill surround and the radiator supports came further forward. How do I know all this? because I have owned a 1934 Chev Master Sedan since 1985. -- Last edit: 2008-02-19 21:43:28 |

The Aussy body for the 33-34 differed from the US in minor styling. The body swage lines were different along the body and under the windows so this on is AU not US in origin. |

I think he's meant to be The Dark One, originally Max's partner and May Swaisey's husband, then removed from the script, leaving only the name on the Interceptor's fender (all the patrol cars have the drivers' infomation), his line "May, call the Dark One" after Jessie is chased through the woods, and (I think) his appearance when they find Cundallini's hand hanging from the Sandman. |
