An idiot, who is not able to handle it. My mercy fo the insurance company, which has to waste the money of all customers to pay the disability of the driver. I'm working in an insurance company, too. We don't accept such cars. We had enough trouble in 1989. Seven Ferrari F 40 were existing then in Germany. Three of them had insurance cover in our company - two of these F 40 were totaled by their overchallenged drivers within the following three weeks. ![]() |

There's also a video on youtube that has a grey Veryon being pulled out of the water in a pond somewhere in Texas. These car companies/manufactures should have some short of restriction to have them choose their customers who they see fit to drive such cars(same goes for the lame rappers like Lil Wayne). And to the people with lots of money, just because you can afford one doesn't mean you can drive/handle one. -- Last edit: 2011-03-03 18:52:35 |

Personally I think that Veyron is ugly and overrated car. No more than fastest VW Beetle. |

Anyone remember the Nordstadt - http://www.einszweidrei.de/vw/norkae1973-1.htm - 1303 body on a 914 base with Carrera 2.7 engine? And then there was the Golf with 928 oily bits http://www.billswebspace.com/Nordstadt928VW.pdf . |

Well I agree with you. In my opinion the only thing that is the most highlight thing about the car besides the car itself...is it's pricetag. Besides, I can get a Saleen S7 Twin Turbo for about half the price(although still expensive)at around $600,000. What most people don't know is that the car has nearly the same performance as the Veyron(such as acceleration time from 0-60) and can also go at a maximum speed of 245MPH. Although there were whispers from the testers of the S7 that said that the car can go at 260MPH. -- Last edit: 2011-03-23 19:34:19 |

You can get similar maybe even better acceleration from an Ariel Atom or Caterham Seven with the thrill being even greater due to it being an open more exposed car for less than £50K. Nobody needs to go 250MPH and there are very few places you can make that kind of speed anyway. Besides that I just find it to be a very boring car. |

Yes it is. When it comes down between the choice a Mclaren F1 and a Bugatti Veyron, I would choose the Mclaren since it is a lot more than just fast speed and the styling of the car is like timeless and has more substance. -- Last edit: 2011-03-23 20:37:56 |
