Series III 109" in front; Series II or IIa 88" behind. Wonder why they have the same reg. number? |

Perhaps they ran out of prop number plates and resorted to putting the rear plate from the first Land Rover on the front of the second. |

The front one isn't a 3, its a late 2A (1969-1971). Wire grille, bonnet hinges and windscreen hinges are all 2A type. the back one is an 88" station wagon (tropical roof, sliding side windows & deluxe bonnet), but its not possible to date it closer than 1958-1968 from these pictures. |
