 The daily car of Joseph Maurin, country Doctor in Forez region, Auvergne (central France).
It's a mix between Year Model 1955 with direction arrows on the C-pillar and 1957 with indicators lights on the front, that might have been retrofitted later.
The plate number correspond to 2009, the last year of 1950's system replaced by the new Système d'Immatriculation des Véhicules (SIV) in 2009. With this new SIV the car keep the same registration number during all its life, before that the number should change with the different owners when moving from a department to another.
