I am still thinking about this one. It is an upmarket American from 1922 or 1923 - maybe 1924 because it has plated drum headlights, a nickel plated radiator and two wheel brakes. From looking at its proportions its wheelbase is around 125 inches. I first thought it was a Winton but the position of the door handles is wrong as is the lower line of the cowl. I think it might be a Premier - one of the last of this make. -- Last edit: 2008-11-09 08:38:19 |

1923 or 1924 Dorris Model 6-80 (Dorris Motors Corporation of St. Louis, Missouri, 1909-1925) It appears the closed cars got drum headlights for 1922, while the open cars followed a year later. https://libwww.freelibrary.org/digital/item/zoom/45746 Link to "dorrismotors.wikidot.com" New make. |
