This I don't recognise, but it looks more like 4 door convertible than sedan. |

I think it's a Cadillac Sedan DeVille, possibly a 1971. |

It's certainly a "Sedan de Ville" [100% sure] and the range is from 1971-1973. Without a view of the front clip, however, I defy ANYONE on this forum to prove to me that it's one year or another; it would be mere guess work. |

Wasn't that the same car used in License to Drive? |

It's definitely not a 73, that year had a much different center bumper section. And yeah, License to Drive had a car just like this! |

The pic that antp provided shows a small rubber strip on the bumper. This was only avalable on the 1972 model. |

Hm I wonder if it is the same car from License To Drive /vehicle_1224-Cadillac-Sedan-de-Ville-1972.html |

Not likely. License.. was made a year earlier and the car was totalled. They couldnt fix it up that well and reuse it a year later. -- Last edit: 2011-12-23 18:35:58 |

Perhaps License To Drive used two matching cars and only wrecked one of them. |

C'mon guys, you don't honestly think they only use one car in a film do you? :-) Licence to Drive used at least six Cadillacs, in fact I think it was eight. Every movie has to have one mint cose up car, stunt cars, cars to have camera rigged on, one to cut in half for the actors to sit in, likely another one to be towed around while they pretend to drive in it. PLus doubles of every car that needs to be driven on camera just in case of mechanical breakdown. And that's just on a movie where the car has a small part to play. There's a very good chance this is a leftover from Licence to Drive. |
