![]() ![]() Not 107" but RGC 11 is a known and surviving 1955 86" Station Wagon (chassis 57105163), originally to Ministry of Supply at Pocklington (near York) as an airfield control vehicle with a chequer livery. Which means this is later footage, after it was sold off and when it seems to have a windowless hardtop. Now restored as Station Wagon again, but civilian dark green "I found the vehicle had been rotting away in someone's garden for 7 years and rebuilt it around 14 years ago. It took me 2 years to rebuild and I painted it green before I knew some of the history otherwise I would have put it in its proper colour. From new at 1955 it left the factory for the Ministry of Supply at Pocklington in York and it was painted in P1 grey. The next owners sent me pictures of it still in the P1 Grey. I came across a second civilian owner who said the first owner told him it had been an airfield control vehicle and had checkered paintwork which had been badly painted over and was still visible. The second owner then had it resprayed grey. (Pocklington was already closed as an airfield and only used as a depot as far as I know)" - from here. See also this page about Landies with RGC plates and this page with more pics from the son of the second owner mentioned above.
