Prototype? It seems like some sort of two-door would make more sense as the base for a bubbletop, especially in the '60s. The hardtop if they could make it work, the post if they couldn't; or just a bolt-on accessory for the convertible. -- Last edit: 2008-11-29 02:49:22 |

Come to think of it, did Barreiros even make a two-door Dart? I looked these up because I got the Ixo model of a '65 Dart (mislabeled as a '66- that's why I looked it up), and that's a four-door sedan. Models of '60s American cars aimed at the American market are almost always hardtop coupes or convertibles, so the fact that the Ixo is a sedan stood out. |
